Zhamanak: Samvel Babayan to back opposition party in Karabakh elections

Nagorno-Karabakh’s former Defense Minister Samvel Babayan, who resided in Moscow over several past years, is planning to back the National Revival opposition party in Artsakh’s parliamentary elections due in May, Zhamanak reports.

According to the newspaper, Tigran Grigoryan, a member of the party’s political team, said this to Radio Azatutyun.

“It is not clear yet, however, what kind of support this is going to be,” the newspaper adds.
