Is consolidation of Armenian opposition forces possible?

There are opposition forces in Armenia’s political arena. But it is a different matter that the opposition has weakened to some extent, Armen Martirosyan, deputy chairman of opposition Heritage Party, told Panorama.am.

In his words, without opposition a disgraceful situation would be created in the country. “In any case, I hope there will be normal political arena in Armenia: government and opposition,” Martirosyan said. 

Regarding the possibility of consolidation of opposition forces, Mr Martirosyan noted that this is a matter of discussions and further political activities.

He added that cooperation with Prosperous Armenia Party is realistic.
