Zhoghovurd: Opposition MP Vahan Badasyan not to run in NKR parliamentary elections

NKR opposition MP Vahan Badasyan will not run in the parliamentary elections to be held on May 3, Zhoghovurd reports.

Badasyan confirmed the report to Zhoghovurd. “I will not run in the elections since I failed to unite the opposition ahead of the elections,” he told the newspaper.

In response to the remark that Nagorno-Karabakh's former Defense Minister Samvel Babayan planned to unite the opposition in Artsakh, why didn’t the opposition forces unite around him?, the MP said, “These were mere statements, while Samvel Babayan himself did not take any practical step to this end.”
