Haykakan Zhamanak: Electricity prices may go up

Within one month, the Electric Networks of Armenia will request the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) to raise the electricity prices, Hraparak reports.

According to the newspaper, in all likelihood, the electricity prices will increase by about 15-16 percent.

Commenting on the reason for a possible increase in electricity prices, the newspaper notes that an extreme situation has been created in the country’s energy system and it is deep in debts.
