Haykakan Zhamanak: Leonid Slutsky to arrive in Yerevan today

The Armenian National Assembly on Saturday will host a joint session of its Standing Committee on Foreign Relations and Russian State Duma’s Committee for CIS Affairs and Eurasian Integration, Haykakan Zhamanak reports.

The Russian State Duma’s above-mentioned committee is headed by Leonid Slutsky, who is considered an influential figure in Russia’s foreign policy. So far, the two committees have held two joint sessions – in Yerevan and Moscow – during which they discussed a wide range of issues related to Armenian-Russian relations.

A delegation led by Leonid Slutsky is expected to arrive in Yerevan today.
