Armenian government approves ‘One Child, One Computer’ project

The Armenian government on Thursday approved ‘One Child, One Computer’ project. Under the project, ArmTab tablets will be distributed free of charge among first graders in Armenian secondary schools.

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan stressed that the project must be transparent. 

Deputy Minister of Education and Science Karine Harutyunyan said that the project has educational purpose and will be implemented in several stages. The first stage will be implemented in Vayots Dzor province.
