2.3 magnitude earthquake registered west of Yerevan

Magnitude 2.3 earthquake hit Armenia, 9 km west of Yerevan, at 3:47am local time today. The earthquake measured 3 on the Richter scale in the epicenter, according to the press service of Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.

The earthquake’s hypocenter was at a depth of 10 km.
