Zhoghovurd: Draft on amnesty to be submitted to parliament next week

Backstage talks in the parliament say that a special parliament session may be convened on May 5 on the government’s initiative. According to Zhoghovurd daily, the draft on amnesty, which was under consideration for several months, may be submitted to the National Assembly during the session.

The draft is being kept secret. It is only known that Serzh Sargsyan intends to declare an amnesty; further details will perhaps be clarified in two weeks, the newspaper says.
