Levon Aronian at Russian Club Chess Championship

Armenian Grandmaster Levon Aronian beat GM Alexander Motylev in Round 1 of the Russian Club Chess Championship in Sochi.

Due to this victory, Aronian’s club Sibir (Novosibirsk) beat Malakhit (Sverdlovsk) 3.5-2.5, according to ArmChess.am.
