Blessed was the day when we received news of victory – veteran

I always come to Victory Park to lay flowers in memory of my fallen friends. It is our duty to come here every year to celebrate the Victory Day and Shoushi Liberation together, 86-year-old veteran Derenik Pashinyan told reporters in Victory Park on Saturday.

“Blessed was the day when we received the news of victory,” said the veteran. 

“We continue to celebrate it up to this day,” he said, recalling how they celebrated the victory in the Great Patriotic War in 1945.
