Armenian FM David Shahinyan and IM Tigran Harutyunian had a great success at an open chess tournament held in Sowmesara, Iran. They scored 7 points each out of 9, left behind 41 participants, including 8 Grandmasters and 12 International Masters, and shared 1st-2nd places.
The young Armenian chess players were one point ahead of their closest rivals. Shahinyan took first and Harutyunian second prize with additional points, Armchess.am reports.
