Hraparak: Catastrophic situation in Electric Networks of Armenia

The situation is catastrophic in the Electric Networks of Armenia and if the authorities do not increase the electricity prices in the near future, the country may face regular power outages, Hraparak reports.

The company has huge debts and it is impossible to operate the system. At the same time, the authorities are concerned about the possibility of a social riot, but they have no other way out than to raise the electricity tariffs, the newspaper says.
