I do not think electricity tariffs will increase by 17 drams – Minister

I do not think that electricity tariffs will increase by 17 drams, Armenian Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan told reporters on Thursday.

“Electricity price hike is not desirable to anyone,” he said, adding that he understands the concerns of citizens.

The Minister also said that the Public Services Regulatory Commission is conducting a study and will make a respective statement in about ten days.
