Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan conducted today a regular sitting of the Small and Medium Business Development Council, the government press office said.
The Council discussed the opportunities of giving family business privileges to private entrepreneurs operating guest houses and using a differential approach to local duties. An exchange of opinions took place, during which participants made their proposals.
Summarizing the results, the PM instructed the interested bodies to draft legislative amendments and submit them to the government for examination.
“Our goal is to remove the obstacles in the way of small and medium businesses, enable them to succeed and take consistent steps aimed at economic development. We should combine our efforts,” H. Abrahamyan said.
