New rector of Armenian Polytechnic University announced

Vostanik Marukhyan has been elected rector of National Polytechnic University of Armenia.

Out of 32 members of the university’s board of trustees, 19 voted for V. Marukhyan, 11 – for Hovhannes Tokmajyan. One ballot paper was recognized null and void.

A sitting of the board of trustees took place prior to the vote. The sitting was attended by Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan.
