Zhamanak: Youths of Sisian start termless sit-in

Youths of Sisian, a city in southern Armenia, started a termless sit-in protest yesterday, saying they demand justice, ‘Zhamanak’ paper writes.

The paper learned from sources in Sisian that the Sisian police chief attempted to stop young people. They said they have the right to hold an unsanctioned action for 6 hours. In response, the police chief Gurgen Beglaryan looked at his watch, noted down the time and said aggressively: “The countdown has begun”.
