Haykakan Zhamanak: Anti-tariff-hike protests ebb in Armenian regions

Protests against a hike in electricity tariffs have ebbed in Armenian provinces, ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily says. An activist, Taron Grigoryan, told the paper that the further actions became unclear to them after the demonstrators divided into groups.

‘We decided to wait and see further developments. We now gather in Gyumri and hold discussions,” he said.
