Armenian government approves state medium-term expenditure program for 2016-2018

At the session today the Armenian government approved the state medium-term expenditure program for 2016-2018.

“Some of the numerous proposals submitted were accepted, the rest will be considered when the draft state budget is discussed next year,” Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said.

Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan said that by the program, 1% economic growth is expected in 2015, while real GDP growth in 2016-2018 is expected to be 2.0%, 3.5% and 4% respectively.
