Album of Mariam Sargsyan and Arthur Avanesov receives Golden Orpheus Award of French Academy

‘Distant Youth’ album recorded by mezzo-soprano Mariam Sargsyan residing in France and pianist Arthur Avanesov has received the Golden Orpheus Award of the French Academy, Cultural.am said.

Mariam Sargsyan was awarded the Golden Orpheus in the category “Young Promising Performer”, Arthur Avanesov told Cultural.am.
The album includes romances by composers Yuri Shaporin and Georgy Sviridov (lyrics of poet Alexander Blok).
