Haykakan Zhamanak: CEC member gets married, leaves Armenia

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan signed last Saturday a decree terminating the powers of Tatevik Ohanyan, a member of Armenia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) after she filed a relevant application.  ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily says T. Ohanyan got married and now she will leave Armenia to settle permanently in the U.S.  She became as a spokeswoman for CEC in 2007 and later worked as a member of the commission.
