S. Galstyan: Excellent grape harvest expected in Armenia, situation with phylloxera under control

The grape harvest is expected to be excellent this year, although the phylloxera pest has been found in vineyards of five Armenian communities, Armenian Deputy Agriculture Minister Samvel Galstyan told a press conference today.

This year’s harvest will be larger than in 2014, according to him.

As for phylloxera, S. Galstyan said the situation is now under control, but the risk of phylloxera spearing still remains.
