Haykakan Zhamanak: Four musicians fired from Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia

“Four musicians were fired recently from the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia. According to them, the real reason was their reluctance to quit their jobs in State Youth Orchestra of Armenia where they also worked, although the official argument for their dismissal was different,” ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ daily  says noting that it has long been rumored that the artistic director and principal conductor of Philharmonic Orchestra Edward Topchyan may be replaced by S. Smbatyan, the principal conducted of Youth Orchestra, which is probably the reason of the tension.
