Zhamanak: Stepan Demirchyan may join social-political bloc set up by Arthur Baghdasaryan

‘Zhamanak’ paper writes citing sources that People’s Party of Armenia may soon join ‘Armenian Rebirth’ social-political bloc set up by Arthur Baghdasaryan. 
 

‘Armenian Rebirth’ is funded by Ara Abrahamyan, President of the Union of Armenians of Russia, while the leader of People’s Party of Armenia Stepan Demirchyan and Ara Abrahamyan are close relatives: Demirchyan’s daughter is married to a nephew of Ara Abrahamyan, the paper says. 
 

‘In this situation it is preferable for Demirchyan to join a bloc initiated by the ‘dear in-law’ than be a member of Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s Armenian National Congress that has had its day,” the paper notes.
