Zhoghovurd: Civilnet information website faces financial difficulties

Civilnet information website owned by deputy of ‘Prosperous Armenia’ parliamentary faction Vartan Oskanyan is facing serious financial difficulties in recent period, ‘Zhoghovurd’ paper writes citing its sources. 
 

According to the newspaper, several employees were laid off, and the editorial office was rented out, with the staff moving to a cheaper office. There is an uncertain situation, none of the employees knows anything  about the website’s fate. 
 

Contacted by the correspondent of ‘Zhoghovurd’, the editor of Civilnet Karen Harutyunyan said that there has been a reduction of stuff, but new people were employed. “Optimization is underway. We moved to a new office as we consider it more expedient to organize our activities in a small office”, he told the paper.
