Azerbaijan fires over 14,000 shots at Armenian positions in past week - NKR Defense Army

On August 2-8 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire about 900 times on the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan, Defense Army of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic said. Over 14,000 shots were fired by Azerbaijan at Armenian frontline positions in the indicated period from guns of various calibers, 60 mm and 82 mm mortars, and RPG-7 and AGS-17 grenade launchers, according to the press service of NKR Defense Ministry.

The activity of the enemy was suppressed as a result of prompt actions taken by frontline units of NKR Defense Army.
