Back wages of Nairit Plant workers paid at expense of money from sale of Vorotan Hydro Cascade

The back wages of the staff of Yerevan-based Nairit chemical plant have been paid at the expense of the money received from the sale of property of Vorotan Cascade of Hydropower Plants, Armenian Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources said.

A total of 5,309 million drams was paid in back wages.

‘The rumors that back wages of Nairit workers were paid from profits of state companies of the energy sector are not true,” the ministry said in a statement.
