Cigarette production grows in Armenia

Tobacco industry’s output grew by 37% in Armenia in January-June 2015 compared to the same period of 2014. 7,670.7 million cigarettes were produced in the first half of 2015 against 6,597.6 million in January-June 2014, according to the National Statistical Service.

As a result of the increase, tobacco production accounted for 11.1% of Armenia’s industrial output this year.
