Zhoghovurd: Family of ex-police chief of Yerevan leaves Armenia

Ex-chief of the Yerevan police Nerses Nazaryan and his family have left Armenia. They plan to settle in the U.S. where they have their own business.

During N. Nazaryan’s term as Yerevan police chief, his family owned several businesses. After Nazaryan’s resignation in April 2103, things started to look bad to him. The last ‘Moskvichka’ supermarket of the Nazaryans closed in the autumn of 2014.
