Several personalities get highest state awards for assistance with Armenian Genocide Centennial commemorations

By decrees of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, highest state awards have been conferred on a number of Armenian and Diaspora figures for their assistance with the organization and holding of events commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Several other personalities received certificates of appreciation.

Following the awards ceremony, the head of state thanked the recipients for assistance with the events made accessible to the entire world.
