Chorrord Ishkhanutyun: 2016 state budget oriented towards ensuring stability

Deputy Finance Minister of Armenia Pavel Safaryan told ‘Chorrord Ishkhanutyun’ newspaper that the state budget for 2016 is oriented towards ensuring stability. “It does not envisage big social tasks or an increase in wages and pensions. It is necessary to maintain the existing situation.  We could have followed other countries’ suit and cut pensions and wages, but we don’t take such a step now,” he said.
