Hraparak: Relatives of life termers on hunger strike to demand a meeting with PM

‘Hraparak’ paper writes that relatives of life-termers who went on a hunger strike intend to gather today outside the Armenian government so as to demand a meeting with the prime minister and the minister of justice.

They demand that the provision of the law on parole should be applicable to persons serving a life term as well.

“Unless a positive answer is given tomorrow, the relatives will start a sit-in and a hunger strike for an indefinite period,” a relative said. To remind, 53 life-termers went on an indefinite hunger strike yesterday.
