Haykakan Zhamanak: Drug imports into Armenia decline

According to ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’,s data of the Customs Service shows that medicines of $38.8 million were imported into Armenia in the first half of 2015 - imports fell by 14.5% compared with the same period of last year. Experts explain this drop by the declining purchasing power of citizens. The paper also notes that in Armenia drug prices are much higher than in other CIS countries.
