Edward Nalbandyan: Armenia welcomes Genocide recognition by Paraguay’s Senate

Armenia welcomes the recognition of the 1915 Armenian Genocide by Paraguay’s Senate, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan said in a statement.

“The consistent expansion of the process of international recognition of the Armenian Genocide shows that crimes against humanity have no expiration date, and the humanity, even a century later, continues to recognize and condemn that crime.

This step of Paraguayan Senate made an important contribution to the international efforts on the prevention of genocides and crimes against humanity,” Edward Nalbandyan said.
