Chorrord Ishkhanutyun: Drunk driving fines may increase

‘Chorrord Ishkhanutyun’ newspaper writes that Traffic Police of Armenia decided to raise fines for violation of traffic safety rules. The issue of raising fines for drunk driving is being discussed. Fines from 100,000 to 150,000 drams are currently imposed depending on the degree of a driver’s intoxication. The fines will be raised to 200,000-250,000 drams.

Fines for an unauthorized change of the license plate number by a driver will also increase up to 500,000 drams.
