Weightlifter Andranik Karapetyan wins small bronze in Houston Championship

Armenian weightlifter Andranik Karapetyan (men’s 77 kg category) finished fourth at the 2015 Houston World Weightlifting Championship, according to the website of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia.

Karapetyan snatched 164 kg on his first attempt, followed by an unsuccessful second attempt, and then snatched 167 kg during a third attempt. He lifted 191 kg in the clean and jerk, and 196 kg on his third attempt. The Armenian weightlifter took fourth place with a total of 363 kg.
