Municipal elections due in several Armenian regions tomorrow, in addition to constitutional referendum

Elections to local government bodies are scheduled for December 6 in 34 villages of several Armenian provinces such as Aragatsotn, Armavir, Gegharkunik, Lori, Shirak and Syunik, the Central Election Commission of Armenia said.

Elections of village administrators are due in 26 of those villages, elections of councils of elders will take place in 6 villages, and elections of village administrators and councils of elders – in two villages.

46 candidates for the post of a village administrator and 55 candidates for seats in the councils of elders are running in municipal elections tomorrow.

Also, a referendum on the constitutional reform will be held on December 6 in Armenia.
