Haykakan Zhamanak: Gas negotiations between Armenia and Russia are unofficial

“Sources close to the government claim that while conducting negotiations over a reduction in the price of gas supplied to Armenia by Russia, the Armenian side anticipates up to 20% cut in the gas price,” ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ newspaper writes.

If these expectations come true, Armenia will import Russian gas at approximately $130. The talks started in November 2015 and are of an unofficial nature, the sources said.
