British-born musician Keith Emerson dies of suicide

British-born musician, keyboardist Keith Emerson died at his Santa Monica, California home on Friday aged 71, his rock-band Emerson, Lake & Palmer wrote in their Facebook page.

“We regret to announce that Keith Emerson died last night,” reads the message.

Later Reuters informed that according to police Emerson died of self-inflicted single gunshot to his head.
