Levon Aronian celebrates first victory in Stavanger

Armenian GM Levon Aronian celebrated his first victory during Norway Chess Competition in Stavanger. Aronian defeated Pavel Eljanov on the 45th move with white pieces.

At this point, Aronian is the 3rd in the standings with 4 points. The Armenian GM will play against wold champion Magnus Carlsen in the penultimate round.
