Tigran Kirakosyan - silver medalist of the European Sambo Championship

Armenian athlete Tigran Kirakosyan conquered a silver medal at the European Sambo Championships held in Russian Kazan, National Olympic Committee of Armenia reports.

In the final fight Kirakosyan (w.c.52kg) faced Russias Valeri Soronkov, who won the European Champion title.

Other representatives of Armenia Mkhitar Mkhitaryan (w.c.57kg) and Edik Petrosyan (w.c.90 kg) took bronze medals.

The European Championship kicked off on May 12 and will end on May 16.
