RA Health Ministry: Doctors, kept hostage, gave first aid assistance to wounded

“According to our information, doctors, kept hostage at [Erebuni] police station, gave first aid assistance to the wounded gunman. Please refrain from following unverified information and follow official statements,” Health Ministry spokesperson, Anahit Haytyan wrote on her Facebook page .  

Earlier, the police had announced that; “Violating the demand of the law enforcers, shots were fired at the police station. The law enforcers responded by opening fire, which led to a firefight, as a result of which [member of the armed group] Arayik Khangoyan was wounded”.
