Iran plans to connect northern cities with Armenia via railway

Iran has developed a plan to connect northern cities with Armenia via a railway, Iranian ISNA quoted  Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development, Abbas Akhoundi as saying.

Speaking about the railway development plan, the Minister said that Iran aims at improving Zasht-Zenjan-Tabris communication path to connect said cities to Armenia, Nakhichevan and Turkey.
