Greta Vardanyan finished fifth at Rio Summer Paralympics

Armenian weightlifting team member Greta Vardanyan (55kg) finished the fifth at Rio Summer Paralympics underway in Brazil.

As the Ministry of Sport reported, Greta successfully implemented all the three approaches, lifting 90 kg, 95 kg, and 96 kg respectively.

To note, Armenia has fielded two athletes for Paralympics to be held from September 7-18. Along with Greta Vardanyan, swimmer Margarita Hovakimyan is participating in the games.
