Sh. Kocharyan: If Azerbaijan rejects the packaged settlement of the NKR conflict, there is another option of step-by-step settlement

Deputy Foreign Minister of the RA Shavarsh Kocharyan has commented on the step-by-step settlement option of Nagorno Karabakh conflict regularly put forward by Azerbaijan.

“After Azerbaijan’s attempt to repeat the aggression unleashed against the self-determined Nagorno-Karabakh Republic at the beginning of this April it became clear for everyone that if Azerbaijan rejects the packaged settlement of the NKR conflict, there is another version of step-by-step settlement, which is the following: Azerbaijan recognizes Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, returns the occupied territories of Karabakh and applies to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic with the initiative to launch talks on the delimitation of the state border between Azerbaijan and Nagorno-Karabakh".

The question addressed by Armenpress news agency and the Deputy Foreign Minister’s reply have been released by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
