Russia bans import of Turkish mandarin

Russia's agriculture safety watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor has banned the import of Turkish mandarin with a total weight of 24.5 tones to the southern Krasnodar region. The Russian news outlets report about this noting that Mediterranean pest insects have been discovered in them.

It is reported that a ban has been imposed on the import of the above mentioned cargo to prevent it from spreading in the territory of Russia.
