Criminal case launched on murder of Armenian soldier by Azerbaijani fire

The Second Garrison Investigative Unit of General Military Investigative Department has launched a criminal case over the murder of the Armenian serviceman by the Azerbaijani fire, Panorama.am reports referring to the Investigative Committee.

The committee reports that at 14:00 18 January 2017, NKR Defense Army serviceman Andranik Musikyan received a fatal gunshot wound to the head as a result of the Azerbaijani shot fired in the direction of one of the military units of the Defense Army.

The Second Garrison Investigative Unit initiated a criminal case over the committal of a crime on the basis of ethnic, racial or religious motives. Preliminary investigation is underway.
