NKR Defense Army: Azerbaijan applies Istiglal type of sniper rifles

Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire across the Line of Contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan for 30 times overnight February 2-3, firing around 440 shots toward the Armenian positions from weapons of different calibers, including sniper rifles. 

As the press department of the NKR Defense Army reports, Azerbaijani forces applied Istiglal type of large-caliber sniper rifles (25 shells) in the southeastern direction of the Line of Contact

Defense Army vanguard units refrained from response actions and continued confidently carrying out their combat duties, reads the statement.
