Parliamentary elections: Investigative Committee clarifies attempted double voting

The Lori Investigative Department of Armenia’s Investigative Committee has received materials on an attempted double voting at the 23/02 polling station.

As the Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee told Panorama.am, according to the preliminary data, at 09:13 April 2 2017, citizen of Vanadzor City A. Hovhannisyan (b. 1986) attempted a double voting at 23/02 polling station.

“Probe is underway at the Lori Investigative Department to clarify the circumstances of the incident. We will provide further information on the findings,” the committee details.

Notice: The person suspected in or accused of an alleged crime shall be presumed innocent unless proven guilty in the manner prescribed by the RA Criminal Procedure Code in accordance with the Court’s verdict made effective.
