Armenia’s SRC prevents 272 attempts of illegal agricultural imports

During 2017, the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia has prevented 272 attempts of illegal imports of agricultural products, the Information and Public Relations Department of the SRC told Panaorama.am.

“As a result, 18 tons of agricultural products, namely tomatoes have been detected,” the committee noted.

According to the source, in order to avoid the relevant formalities, the offenders attempted to transfer the products through the specially prepared hiding places in vehicles. All the attempts have been stopped.
