European Youth Chess Championship 2017 kicked off in Mamaia, Romania on 5 September. The chess tour features 1150 chess players from 48 European states.
36 young Armenian chess players, including winner of 2016 World Youth U16 Championship Hayk Martirosyan and Mamikon Gharibyan, European Champion of 2016 (U12), are representing the country in the tournament.
The chess tour will run until September 15.
